Video goes black when participant speaks in Zoom
When a participant in your Zoom session speaks, there may be a bug in the Zoom client that causes their video feed to go black in the Zoom app. This is due to a bug with Zoom. This can be fixed by disabling the "optimize quality of the video I receive with super-resolution" in the advanced video settings in Zoom.
- Open Zoom Settings
- Click "Video" in the left vertical navigation
- Select the "Advanced" button in the video settings
- Uncheck the box next to "optimize quality of the video I receive with super-resolution"
