November 14 Update

Hi everyone,

As we prepare for the migration to Microsoft 365 from Google Workspace, here are a few important updates and reminders:

Updates

You will continue to be able to log in at office.com using your inumc.org email address. We're working to ensure that sent emails will display correctly as coming from your @inumc.org address. This is a change from the previous plan and our testing on this capability is going really well.
Your current inbox, calendar, and contacts are being synced with Microsoft 365 daily. You can check this by logging in at Outlook Online. Please refrain from sending emails or setting up meetings in Outlook Online until December 2, when the final sync will take place and forwarding from Google will be activated.
Google Drive and Docs will still be available after the transition, but please avoid using Google for email after December 2.

Introduction to Outlook: Email, Calendar, Contacts

- A recording of the training will be made available following the event.
- Description: Outlook training will cover key functions of both Outlook and Outlook Online, focusing on effective email management, calendaring, and contact organization. Attendees will learn how to use folders, rules, and categories to streamline their inboxes, schedule and manage meetings with ease, and organize contacts efficiently. We'll also discuss the migration process, outlining what changes to expect on December 2, including data transfer details and troubleshooting tips. This session will ensure everyone feels prepared for a smooth transition and comfortable using Outlook’s core features.
On December 2, we will have staff on-site to assist with the reconfiguration of Outlook on computers and mobile devices. We will also have remote online consultation available for those who are working outside of the office. Details for accessing that support will be made available soon.

Before Migration

To prepare for the migration and to ensure that you don't experience any disruption in mail access on December 2:

Log in at office.com with your @inumc.org email address and Microsoft password
